About
Azu brings the writing system, keyboard, font, documentation, learning material, and project releases into one place.
Azu comes from Afro Zu. Afro refers to Afro Institute, the cultural organisation that the founder (SB AG) used to promote this script before termination, after all funding returned with an insufficient funds note. The founder cannot believe that the bank of cultural development is bankrupt, echoing a quote from MLK.
The developed and expanded Azu script is the first digitalisation and innovation on Zu, the existing script developed by Professor Mpele Mvutu from Congo.
The freemium license summary explains the public release approach and the special role of the original Zu work.
Software products, font access, and release downloads stay on azu.ac through product pages, subscriber access, and Azu Forge.
